Who We Are Looking For:

Do you have what it takes to be a member of our multi-disciplinary team?

We have a fantastic team of Pulse staff and are ready to add another member to the fold. Are you friendly, adaptable, know the meaning of being a team player and well presented?

We have 3 locations in Palmerston North and you may be asked to work at any one of these sites. Flexibility is essential in this role.  This is a full-time Monday to Friday position with the possibility of extended hours and or weekend work in the future.

Our staff are passionate about finding new approaches in the way health is delivered. We engage actively with the community and enjoy participating in community events and causes.

Your main duties will include tending to the patient in front of you, always ensuring that they are given key information and that their details are up to date and correct, as well as answering phones, entering data into our computer system and general Health Care Assistant (HCA) tasks as required with the potential to add additional specialist tasks.

You must be a team player with very good communication skills, who understands and appreciates the need for attention to detail.  You also need to be comfortable interacting with a variety of people and attending to issues that arise – usually at the same time!   We ask that in your application you demonstrate how your previous work experience in either HCA, administration and/or customer service roles has honed your ability to prioritise and juggle tasks, within demanding timeframes.

  • Previous experience in a medical related industry is preferred but not essential
  • Competent and confident using a variety of computer systems with quick keyboard skills
  • Flexible approach with the ability to successfully prioritise your workload
  • Respectful nature handling confidential, often sensitive information in a professional manner
  • Excellent communication with a natural flair for fostering positive relationships

You will be joining a dedicated, supportive and friendly team of health professionals, providing invaluable support and assistance to patients. If you think you bring the skills we are looking for and have what it takes to thrive in a busy environment we would love to hear from you.
